Some one told me that 2nd gen injector tips will fit in first gen bodys. what are the pro's and cons of this? I have access to a testing equiptment and a willing friend to help. should I even think of attempting this? I thought it might be cheaper to do this then buying custom edms and I want something more than PODS. thanks

Good news- they WILL fit in the bodies.

Bad news- the P7100 runs SOOO much more pressure than the VE, that the holes are a lot smaller, and about the only ones that compare are the 370 Diamond B's. But even they flow less than PODs. SO, if you could find some Stage 3, 4, or 5 EDM/EH sticks, you may be able to do the body swap and gain something. Just make sure they are from 12v injectors and not 24v. ;)

So, basicly the holes are small but because of the high pressures the p-pump runs you can force more fuel through them. Meaning in a first gen truck you need bigger holes to flow the same amount as smaller holes in the p-pump.

I did call DDP yesterday and told them what I was looking for. He said he would check and see what they can make and call me back

Something like that. The injectors used with the P7100 improve atomization from the higher pressure.
