Probably the biggest mistake doge made was not coming out with a SUV based on the 2nd gen ram to compete with the chevy suburban. like one based on 2500 running gear and of course available with cummins power.

Yes and to compete with the excusion also. Standard features should be the same as a 2500 longbed, heck if they can even use the same frame and drivetrain. It would just be a megacab with 3rd row seating and storage. DC is too woried about making thier new fugly jeep lineup. In 2007 they are coming out with a 4 door wrangler to go with their already grand cherokee, liberty and ugly commander.

I had heard Dodge did build two door SUVs, like a Tahoe, on the 2nd gen platform. They were apparently only sold in Mexico which is why I had never actually seen one, until last week. I had to do a double take. It had Mexican license plates, and was NOT a conversion. It seems like they ought to build a full size SUV and sell it here though.



On another note, I can't figure out why GM doesn't put the D-Max in Suburbans, or H2s.
