2nd Generation Compatibility

Alright. I want to soup this truck up but I don't want to lose the investment when I tade up. If I get POD's and a new turbo and stuff... are most of those types of things compatable with 2nd gen trucks? My next truck will probably be a 95 or 96. That is a lot of money to tie up in a truck I might sell in a few years.



Basically, what can't be interchanged?

Injectors - NO



What other stuff are you thinking of doing?

This guy put 2nd gen DD III's in his 91.

Those were the DD III nozzles mounted on 1st gen bosch injector bodies. The 2nd gen injectors will not work.

I'm kinda in the same boat as CB Parker so I'll throw some questions out here. Will the ATS exhaust manifold interchange? and how about the cam? thanks, alonzo

ATS exhaust manifold = yes (only for 12 valve)
