2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission 2nd generation long bed?

One of my friends has a '97 2500 with long bed - and it has some bent sheet metal. He would like to replace the bed, but says they are not easy to find.



Since he's not yet a TDR member I offered to ask you all if someone may know of an available long bed takeoff - central or north Georgia area would be preferable for purchase/pickup?

i have one on e-bay. it has a hole in the box for a stack. and a 4 inch hole on the outsid right front. it has a good tailgate. no rust at all. i have it listed under tailgates. buy it now 50. 00 box and tailgate. i also have a chrome rear bumper 20. 00. thanks

For replacement box try utility box installers, (plumbers, electricians etc) my son had his replaced and installed for a surprising attractive cost, also he didn't have to discard the old one. Drive in drive out, done all wiring etc, they take off beds daily so very efficient, this was in San Francisco Bay area, should be plenty in Georgia.
