I have an 03 3500 two wheel drive with a 6 speed manual trans. I changed the lift pump this past march as per issue #60 everthing went great . This past sunday during a small trip the harding starting came back. It's like all the fuel drains out of the line. I replaced the pump today thinking bad pump it didn't help. I have no visable leaks. I cycled the switch several times and it doesn't pump up. It runs great ,when it starts. any help. The truck has 164000 miles on it.

Could be injectors and/or crossover tubes. The rail has to build enough pressure in order for the ECM to let the injectors to open. If this pressure is not met during cranking you have a slow start or as in my case a no start. There may other causes but this is a common one for slow starting.
