First failure was at or before 89K. That's when the VP44 went belly up. I was able to get the LP and VP replaced by DC under warranty with no hassles at that time.
Original failure - June 2002
Last week the presure went south on the ride home, so I knew the LP was nearly done. Only able to make 2-8 psi and the FP gauge looked like it was having a fit of some sort bouncing around.
New pump(2. 5 years old still in box from first failure go 'round) now makes 16 psi at idle, 14. 5 WOT.
Has anyone done a setup with Aeromotive Marine diesel pump yet? Either the 11108 or 11110 with the 13202 bypass regulator? The pump specs say 45 psi, and the reg has 2-20 psi regulation with boost referencing on a 1:1 scale to 20 psi.
