2wd Coil Spacers

I'd like to change the super raked look of my stock 2wd. I found some 1. 5" coil spacers to lift the front a little. I'd like to know the pros and cons if there are any. Has anybody installed spacers on their 2wd? Also, what else do I need to do after they are installed? Alignment? Thanks

Do a search on taking the spacers out of the rear. I think it drops the rear end about 1. 5". May do the same thing that you're trying to do.

Forgot to say that I'd like to fit some bigger rubber so I need to go up and not down.

The biggest problem is that the upper control arm gets close to the frame/spring bucket . Hard to explain but look where the upper ball joint is ,it gets close when you have full extension of the spring. For some reason no one offers a drop spindle for the 2500 dodges. Also your toe will change so you will need to adjust it before you drive it to the alignment shop

How did you lift your front 3"? Have any pics? I would love to lift my front 3" and put some blocks in the rear for 2".

Be very careful if you don't get custom arms that you don't bind then break your ball joints.

I have used the spacers to lift the front of our 2wd 3500 ram. It did in fact do the job very well. I did notice that it did away with the shudder on take off under load. You do have to get it realined.
