2002/2500/2WD: Anybody change front wheel bearings at home? Looking at the dodge manual, I'm not sure as to how much trouble I'd be getting into trying to change them myself. It looks like the hub is a module that you buy, since the manual doesn't say a thing about removing and installing the wheel bearings. Any experienced comments are welcome, and thanks in advance for any advice:confused:

I just replaced my front rotors, while they were off I took out ABS sensor

and greased bearings threw there. Do you know your bearings are bad.

it's an assembly-hub and bearing in one non-serviceable unit as I saw it. I had to have mine replaced. A local diesel shop did it. Originals lasted a little over 92000 mls. I wish they were serviceable.

Do you have 4 wheel ABS. If so 3/16 allen holds sensor in.

Take sensor out and you have a 5/16 hole on top of your

bearing. I used a needle on the end of grease gun. to

grease bearings.
