99 ram 3500 diesel 2WD I need to know if anyone has done a lift of 2. 5 inches from daystaror or another company where did youget the lower control arms that they say you need. This is for the front to level the truck.

Check with some one like "Artillery"??(Sorry. My appologies to "Artillery", it is "lklauder" that I was think of. ) before changing the height. You can cause a lot of rather bizzar problems if it is not done the right way. I don't feel there is any economical way to alter the height safely, because of the way it changes the loads on the f/e components. In 33 years as a service professional, I have not seen one height-altered stock suspension that drove as good a stock. (That is, altered outside of the designed in limits)

I have raised mine 1. 75" with springs and air bags. It is the upper control arms that need replacing as they droop too far down, thus putting hte ball joint at a severe angle. 1. 75" lift is dooable with stock control arms. Heck I haven't even aligned it and it goes straight and no abnormal tire wear, but everyone truck is different. There are no upper control arms available for the 3500 specificall, but I the later model 1500, 2500, 3500, lis the same number sfor the upper arms. So a set of Fabtec upper arms can be bolted on... I have seen it. Anything more than 2-2. 5 inches, really invites bump steer
