I have raised mine 1. 75" with springs and air bags. It is the upper control arms that need replacing as they droop too far down, thus putting hte ball joint at a severe angle. 1. 75" lift is dooable with stock control arms. Heck I haven't even aligned it and it goes straight and no abnormal tire wear, but everyone truck is different. There are no upper control arms available for the 3500 specificall, but I the later model 1500, 2500, 3500, lis the same number sfor the upper arms. So a set of Fabtec upper arms can be bolted on... I have seen it. Anything more than 2-2. 5 inches, really invites bump steer
