Does anyone know of a different set of springs to put under a 2wd to lift the front end up a little bit? I just don't like the way the Cummins makes the nose drop on my truck. I'm only wanting a couple of inches if you can believe that. I have a good reason to need this because sometimes the front tires will rub on a hard turn/bump. :)

I've read some of the posts regarding leveling kits and heard some of the problems: death wobble and need for longer shocks which it seems no one is making yet. I haven't seen that anyone has used a leveling kit specifically on a 2wd either. If anyone has without any of the problems and can recommend a brand, I'm game.

Do the 2 wheel drives have independent suspension? If they do, adding leveling blocks would throw off the geometry.

So a leveling Kit, or a spacer pack, or new coils will all do the same thing with the angles on the front suspension. They raise the frame of the truck away from the axle. The 5 links, 4 control arms and a drag link that hold the axle under the Truck stay a fixed length so the agle of the axle with respect to the road changes. This changes the alignment angle of the caster, and the drag link can also move the axle to one(drivers) side just a little bit. The lower arms do have a CAM adjustment on them so they can be moved to help put the caster back to where it should be. The Steering changes a little bit as well, I know it can create a bit of bump steer on a Jeep TJ, and without looking again I think the Dodge Truck front end is just like a TJ's.

With all that being said many people have lifted these rigs without problems.

Well... am I just crazy or has noone else been bothered enough by the "stance" of their 2wd to do anything about it. Man I hate to be the first to try something new. Hopefully someone will chime in soon.

If your front tires are rubbing you may have a warranty issue,I have a 2wd 04 and have never had a tire rub problem,I do have an issue with the rear shocks not being strong enough when loaded that DC is looking at.

Would adding blocks or longer springs to a independent suspension front end change the geometry of the wheels in relationship to the frame?

Maybe it depends on the type of suspension? I know on a Ford with twin I beam it will. Not sure on a Dodge.
