:D i run 235`s with no problem-but your speedo will be off approx. 4. 4%. I`ll try to give you an idea of what mph 215`s vs. 235`s first # will be 215`s and the second # 235`s @30 mph-28. 75 35mph33,50 40-38. 31 45-43. 1050-47. 89 55-52. 68 60-57. 50-65-62. 75 70-67. 075-71. 84 80-76. 62 you get what I mean just a tad slower!hope this helps;)

Mine is a 4WD and I just got 6- 235 85R 16 Cooper HT Load Range E's this after noon. they look much better than the 215;s did, but I now have a vibration from 55- 70 that feels like the truck is hopping . It is worst at 65 MPH. Any ideas before I go back to the Tire Shop in the morning,

Thanks,TJ

Look into 235's

Hey all

First off RJ2, what year 2wd

Newer ones have a wider rim.

Also to GOATHERDER, my speedo went the other way.

The 235 is about 1. 2" taller, less RPM,more MPH.

I went from Michelin LTX MS 215 to Michelin LTX A/T 235.

I personaly dont like the way it drives now, will go back to MS

next time.

Long way off though, 65k on first set, hope at least that on A/T's.

Hope that helps

TJ,

I had a set of coopers once that did the same thing. Took the truck back and made them rebalance and it still did it. Took it back the third time and they found a tire out of round. Watch when they put on the balance machine and you can probably see it if one is out of round.

paccool,

Well thats what I had, the left front tire was way out of round. They pulled all 6 of them off and rebalanced and no more vibration.

My truck came with the 215's and I always ran 70# up front and 80# in the rear.

Can any one recomend what air preasure to run with the 235's.

The tire Guy put 65 up front & 60 rear but it feels to soft to me.

What air preasure is recomended in the door panel on the 1 ton 4X4's that come stock with 235's.

Thanks, TJ
