I bought my 2003 2500 QC 4x4 TD used. It had 13,000 miles on it and had been in service for only six months. Great truck. Problem is, the dealer gave me no documentation on this truck what-so-ever. Not even an Owners Manual. My salesman subsequently came up with an Owner's Manual that I think he took from another truck.

Question is, how about my build? Is there anyway of coming up with a build sheet on this truck? I don't even know which rear end it's got in it (3. 73 or 4. 10) or if it's got limited slip, etc.

Might be a sticker up on the hood ( inside) also climb under and look for a small metal tag. This tag if there should have a series of numbers and in there you should see 355 or 3. 55 maybe 3. 54 or 410 or 4. 10. Also the service department will tell you how the truck was built if you supply the VIN. This is options, gear ratios, transmission type, axle type, color, tire size- about all you need to know. I am suprised the salesman did not walk back the 50' or so to get this for you.
