3-button remote fob to lock & unlock doors

My last 'working' remote-fob disappeared during the 3 years my 2004.5 Ram sat waiting for a 5.9 rebuild. Now that I have a fresh engine & trans installed....I can't find my last 'working' remote-fob...although I do have 5 or 6 spare keys. Is there a way to program a new remote-fob....without going to the dealership to have it done?
