I live in northeast Okla. . and have been tring to locate some 3" chrome stacks need to be a least 60" long. does anyone know where I can find this item.

-----------------------------

2001 3500 5 sp. 3:54 gears custom flat bed hotshot rig, no muffler or convertor, boost and exhust temp. and fuel guages. thinking about the ez comp. if I new it would make a diffenance in the way it performs. .:--)

When I was getting the materials to build my stack and called HT&T Truck Equipment here, (they sell big rig stuff only) the parts guy said, "We don't carry anything that small. (meaning 4 inch pipe) All our stuff is 5 inch. "

Cost of parts for my stack came to $371... not counting the 4" Walker muffler which I already had.

WedgeWest,

Where are you planning on them exiting? In the bed? outsige like MCummings?

Why not just go w/4"? probably easier to find.

I've considered them but can't decide if I like them on MY truck. they look cool on others.

I don't want in the bed and I have nightmares about someone raking off outside ones.

mark, i don't know. one of the tdr members has the motto in his sig... ... ... ... ... the mustang is'nt his, i think. the mustang is real. i saw it stiing in a truck stop one night, altho i didn't take the pix... ... ... ... from Oklahoma, i think. :D

I am planning on mounting them outside the bed. when we built the flatbed we sloped the front corners to match the contour of the cab and they will fit there... ... ... i hope.

those are some serious pipes on that mustang:cool:

WedgeWest,

You gonna make the Tulsa Dyno Day? I'd like to see that bed. Maybe sooner. I've been talkin about putting on a flatbed for a while now.

just got a new JCWhitney catalog last night. they list 5' length 3" stacks. my memory is that they were ~$175.

yeah, the stacks on the 'stang are SERIOUS. love the truck mirrors so he can see around the stacks. they add a nice touch. :D :D the car was sitting at a truck stop where i stopped a couple of months ago. THIS GUY IS A DEDICaTED TRUCKER WANNABE. the car has Oklahoma tags on it. Oo.

The iowa80 site has them for less than $100, I think they were 70 something dollars for 3".
