Hey all I just got my gauges all installed, autometer autolites, pyro, boost, and FP (mech) yes i installed it in the a pillar... not to bad a job, bout 7 hrs total into... one thing I did want to pass on to anyone doin this is, the boost fittin on the 99 is right behind the fuel filter housing, 3/4 plug... well its up in there pretty tight. . so as i'm at my local ACE lookin for an adapter from 3/4 to 1/8. . had a brain storm,,,I ended up getting a 5" 3/4 pipe nipple, then they did have a cap fitting that fit the 3/4 with the 1/8 npt in it... worked out sweet. . put the cap on the nipple on the work bench, then use it to tighten it into the block then in goes the 1/8" adapter for your line to your gauge... it worked sweet, and its still behind the fuel filter housing so its a clean lookin install..... NOW for the fuel pressure, did alot of reading on here... and thanks for all the info,,,bought a NEW grease gun hose 12" there 1/8"npt on both ends, then bought a shut off valve that has 2 female 1/8" fitting, then down to the local speed shop, the made me a 4' stainless hose with the -4an 45 degree comin off the gauge to help go down the pillar and a -4an with 1/8" male end that went right into the valve, all you do is just crack the valve like a 1/4 turn and you dont have to worry about the fuel spikes... . and now for the lights... just pull the head light switch and on the back look for the brown wire on the bottom corner, think it was #14, tap into in and good do go, now the best part... fire it up and only had 4 lbs fp??? just had it checked last month it was 15... . start driving and it goes to 0!! So 155. 00 later and an hour this morning i was changing out the lift pump..... now shes running 15psi idle and 12 wot... . so that gauge saved my injection pump hopefully?? Hope this info will help someone out... I picked up alot off of here... I took some pics of everything so if anyone wants any just email at -- email address removed -- thanks again for a great site... Russ
