i just ordered the 3 gauge pod for the a-pillar. my qustion is i got it out and looked at and it appears to be a little warped. will this still work. i have a 2 gauge pod on it already and it's fine. if i put 3 screws on each side of the pillar will it pull it down so there are no gaps. i didnt' know if anyone else had these problems.

I installed a ProPod triple in my pickup and the instructions said it could be installed over the OEM cover or remove the old one and install it alone. I chose to install it alone. With mine all I had to do was push the pod down into the bottom and put one screw in the top and it fits as snug as can be..... no gaps at all. You can see the screw I put in here. but I don't know if it is warped if it will straighten out or not... maybe someone else has had a warped one and can chime in. [/IMG]#ad

 If it were me,I would send it back and get a straight one. All of the ga. pillar mounts that I have installed are straight and you don`t have to put a screw! in, just push the outside edge under the rubber moulding, it will stay fine.

I can not see the part, but I too think I would send it back. The Auto meter pillar mounts seem to arrive in good shape. I have them in my Dodge and Ford, both arrived fine and installed nicely. Most people don't want alot of noticeable screws showing, I agree it just looks better. Good Luck.
