has anyone considered 12v or 4bt in boats?

I need to back up and punt and redo my project the wife dont like the suburban claims its too big any one know of a 3 seat SUV that a gen 1 engine will fit into ? that can either use the stock drive train or add a strait axel conversion . She drove a tahoe with 3 seats that was ok any one have any ideas ?

Aren't Suburbans only like a foot longer than Tahoes? If you get a third row in a Tahoe, you give up a lot of trunk space. If it were me, I'd be pushing for the Suburban. She'll get used to it.

My wife said the same thing when we first got our suburban. Then when the 6. 5 got so bad, I got completely frustrated with it and said I was going to sell it and she begged me not to. I told her I would agree to keep it but that I was going to put a CTD in it. Needless to say, I did and we still have it. Ask her if she would just drive it until you figure something else out and after a while she wont let you get rid of it. LOL

How about this? It is a little tall for most garages though :) it is a Grizzly and seats 9 but it has a CTD in it. Shadrach

That particular vehicle is in Vancouver BC. They made 2 door, 4 door and this one off 'suburban". Grizzlys were built there back in the late 80's early 90's. Back in about 89 or 90 I met the Alberta dealer for them. They went out of bussines when the owner "died". They cost about twice the price of a pick up and were built for oil field work. I saw this one on Vancouver Island about 3 years ago.
