30 or 32 spline

Is the output shaft on the rear of the NP205 in my truck 30 or 32 spline? I'm getting a new yoke and they wanted to know that. Anybody know without me having to pull it apart?

I don't know for sure but I think that all 205s are 32 spline on the rear output.

Yea. It's got 1410's in it already, just need to get rid of the strap style yokes and go with some u-bolts. Surely someone knows what the spline count is for sure. I won't be able to pull it apart until Saturday and then I will have to wait another week to put them in.

I have no idea what is in there, but would believe the 32's are what would be in out t-cases.



A buddy of mine kept breaking his shaft in the chivvy 205. Upgraded to the dodge shaft, guess its speced diffferently and a little tougher.



Sorry I can't tell you for sure. I can say I haven't had mine apart, yet.
