Howdy/welcome Jacob---- before you set a 400HP goal, keep in mind that 400 gas HP is way different that 400Diesel HP--- there's an ungodly torque difference ... . my 300(est. ) HP in a quad-cab 4x4 outruns nearly everybody that wants to "play"... 700lb-ft of torque is "heap big medicine for young brave" (I'm from Oklahoma. I can do a bad impression of a stereotyped Native American, as I have some in me myself)---Joe D has the (to my knowledge) heftiest power output 12-valver around... the rest of us are about 100+ Hp below him, and are way happy... (but cat-killin' curious, none-the-less)---- BOMBs away, but like Eastwood said "a man's gotta know his limitations" ----rich

------------------
BOMBed 98. 4 1B7KF23D4WJxxxxxx-- BD's #5 plate and x-honed injectors--BD Brake and the associated transmission bomb goodies (except for TC,currently). . many homemade non-power accessories, 4" open exhaust(short)... big hole and old Scotty Air system(will eventually get Psychotty cannon, I suspect) camper shell, Warn front receiver, G159Unisteels on Rickson 19. 5's. . CD player is bone stock, so are the seats. PrimeLoc, also remote spin-on filter for the auto trans... Pyro Boost and Trans temp from Isspro,
Westin nerf rails(black),
bent welding rod to hang celphone on dashboard...

Heatseeker:
Thanks for the kind words. How are you doin' with that immaculate 98 QC? I have a feeling it's getting all the care and attention it deserves. Good to hear from you again.

EZ, I'm doin just fine and the truck is better than ever. I finally stopped babyin' the darn thing and I seem to like it more every day. Looking at guages this week and kind of set my sights on the isspro's on the A-pillar. It is still immaculate (the truck) and kind of sounds like a leer jet compared to your DC-10. I am still a couple of months away from the #8 plate. (got to take nice care of the transmission)

I sure appreciate all you have done for me and another big thanks to this site and the people who help those of us who are still rookies at this.

S.

Heetseeker:
Careful on the Isspro's. I had them in my truck and returned them because their night illumination was so poor. Can I suggest you read some of the past posts on gauges and perhaps consider alternatives. Forgive me if I'm intruding... just my $. 00002 worth based on past experience.
