I am gathering parts for a F350 crewcab conversion. I have found a used NP241 out of a Dodge diesel for $300 with shifter. i don't have all the particulars on it yet. This seems like a really good price but I've just started looking. What do they normally go for?

Thanks,

Keith

That doesn't sound too bad as long as it's in really good shape. I can't answer as to what they normally go for. I would suggest you go on ebay motors and look up the parts to get an average of what they are selling for and for what people are paying for them.

Your other option is to call around to all your local auto dismantlers and Pick-N-Pull type places to get an idea of what they want for one also. That should get you at least an average used part price. Only you can decide what is a good price or not.

If it was me id spend the money on a 205 from a late 70s ford and build it to fit it it be bullet proof and will not break.

Thank you for the replies. That one didn't work out but I picked up an Engine, NV4500, and NP241 tonight. Now to get my shed done so I can clean out my shop so I have a place to work. Uuugh!
