What is the advantage of a 3000 GSK vs adjusting the breakaway screw ? Also called the high idle screw ? I had a local shop adjust mine a little now fuels to 3200 no problem. I could have done it myself but I was there testing my pump anyways...

Not sure what you are asking, but the breakaway screw and the high idle adjusting nut are two different things. Adjusting the high idle screw is a bad idea, IMHO. I have heard it is not the best or most "pump"efficient way of getting the pump to fuel higher than the stock setting. Just get yourself to 3GSK and your good to about 3000 rpm before the pump goes into mechanical fuel cut. Or get the 4GSK if you plan on turning the engine higher than 3K. You may or may not have to adjust the low idle screw when the GSK has been installed. I had to back mine down a bit after I got the gov. springs adjusted properly.
