305/70/16

Will 305/70/16's fit on stock 01 2500 4x4 without rubbing? I could not find out in the search forum.

I ran 305's without a lift for a long time. If you want to run 16x10 wheels, you may have a small amount of rub at full lock. Mine always caught my mudflaps, so I had to trim them down to basically a decoration piece. It seems like a lot of trucks are a bit different though, I'm sure someone else will chime in shortly.

I was going to wait to see if anyone without any lift would chime in, but there are'nt too many people running this size, especially without any lift.



That being said, I do have the 2. 5" coils and my pass. side barely rubs on the rear of the plastic wheel liner. This is with aftermarket wheels with more offset than the stock wheels, in case it may make any difference. HTH.

I'm running Goodyear Wrangler ATS 305/70/16's on my 99 with only the Skyjacker front coils and have no probs. I run these when it's not hunting season. I usually put on BFG 35/12. 50/16. 5's on a old set of rims then. The BFGs will rub if turning almost full lock with a bump in the road. No rub at all with the 305s though.

I have Remington Wide Brutes on the stock wheel. I get a slight rub on the control arms at steering lock.

I had 305/70/16s on the stock 2001 rims and they rub. They also rub occasionally after a 2. 5" lift from Skyjacker. If they rub a little on the street, they will rub alot off road...
