I looking into getting some 305/70/17 BGF A/T KO's, and I was wondering if I get five can I replace the rubber on my spare and still keep it under the bed of the truck?

Also do any of you guys have pics of these on a stock truck, I don't plan on a lift for a while and I used to rub with BFG M/T's on my old truck so I'm trying to avoid that again by staying away from a 315.

Thanks for any input.

Not knowing what year your truck is, I'll assume it's the same as mine -- 2004. I have 315/70/17 with H2 wheels and don't rub. Some people are running the same size on the stock rims and don't rub. I could only assume since the 305 is a size smaller, you won't have any clearance issues. The 315's look great on my truck and many others, and the 305 is not noticably smaller, so it should look good also.

As far as the spare -- I had the same question a month ago so I searched around a bit. I found postings where some people have put their 315 spare up and it just barely fit. I haven't looked closely at mine, so I'm not sure if my 5" exhaust would be in the way or not, but I doubt it. Either way, if what I read was accurate, the 305 should fit.

Thanks guys, sorry I forgot to mention it's an 04. 5 4dr 2500

Can anyone recommend a good place to get these for a good price.

One more thing I hear they throw stones like crazy and that's my worst enemy with a black truck, do you have any recommendations on a similar tire?

Thanks again

with stock exhaust, the 315's will fit under the truck in the stock location... with aftermarket exhaust it may or may not fit. 4" probably will fit, 5" nope...

A 35" tire with stock spare rim will fit with 5" exhaust. You have to manuver the tire a bit to get it into place but once it is up there you have about 2" clearance on the exhaust.

I dig the train horn idea :D
