Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
I run MTR 305's on my '96. I've done the mileage calculation and came up with about 7. 7% for difference. This was done with 3. 55's and the auto trans, I can't remember what I used for the stock tire size as I didn't buy the truck new. If you come up with something different please post it.
I've seen other posts where people have gotten the 305 between the rails but havent tried with mine as I don't have a 305 spare
. With my posie I guess I'd have to take one off of the front if I got a flat on the rear.
