Anybody besides Westach sell a 30psi Fuel pressure gauge? Everybody else seems to only sell 15 psi or 100 psi. Would the 15 psi be okay?

Also mechanical is about $100 less than electical with most brands. Any pro or cons would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Johnny

I'm using the 30 psi Westach, so far only problem was bad sending unit. Originally mounted on fuel filter canister, I imagine the motor shook it to death. Now I have it up on the firewall, with no problems with sending unit since moving it about a year ago.

cul,

Holley has a mechanical guage in 30 psi. Dry and glycerin filled. Dry guage is about 25 bux, don't remember anymore. I bought one to use as a quick check guage before I bought my full Westach panel.

I have been e-mailing a tech at Autometer for a few months & according to him, Autometer is supposed to release an electric, full sweep 0-30 PSI fuel pressure gauge that is comaptible with diesel fuel. The current offerings aren't supposed to be used with diesel fuel according to Autometer.

I use the Westach dual 0-30, one pre filter, one post filter.

0-30 puts reading right in the middle of the range where it should be.

I've had the Auto meter 0-15psi gauge for almost a year with no problems, but I too would love to have one that goes to 30psi. That FASS system keeps the needle pegged on the 15psi gauge.

JL penner,

Check out the Dipricol 0-30 we have been selling them for years and now have a new much better priced isolater for it as well. They are available in black and white faces. They are OEM for Cat, John Deere, Euclid, and others so the quality is there!

Thanks!! Finally a site where I can see a clear picture of what the guages look like! Think I found my store, now I need to go break my piggy bank. :-laf

Okay, here's my shopping list

1. Aluminized exhaust

2. Pillar mount

3. Dipricol gauges:boost,fuel,pyro

Already have K&N in stock filter housing

Should I go with Mach 1. 5 injectors

or with the Edge Comp?

or both?

Truck is 2001. 5 ETH pretty close to bone stock.

Will I need new HD clutch?

Truck is Daily driver I haul horse trailers anywhere from 6K lbs to 15K lbs might eventually get a bigger trailer.

Also, what Rear Wheel HP/TQ do you think I will be at?

You will need a boost fooler(electronic and a boost elbow) with the mach 1. 5's. You won't be able to use the higher settings on the comp box without a heavier duty clutch, and either of these mods would really need a better fuel supply system. I think a set of mach 1. 5's with a boost fooler would be fine or 1. 5's with and edge ez and a clutch would be even better.

Just bought pyro, fuel pressure, and boost pressure gauges! Oo.

Exhaust to follow, then I can start cramming stuff under the hood!! gotta sell a horse first though!!
