will a set of 315 75 16 tires work on a 01 4x4 with a 2" leveling kit and the fenderwell liners be trimmed truck has 4. 10 and need a little more gear not to mention less wheel well
Mine rubbed on the control arm with the stock alloys, then i put 16x10s, then it rubbed on the left fender slightly, so 16x8s with a little bit off offset would be perfect i would think, but either setup worked good enough.
I'm running Denman Coyote 305/85/16's (36. 4") with just a 2" lift and have never experienced any rubbing. They're mounted on the 16 x 6. 5" stock chrome wheels.
I was worried the wheel would be too narrow, but these tires are wearing better than anything else I've tried... and they definitely fill the wheel wells!
I have been running Rancho control arms on the 94 for many years, they are rectangular tubing, stronger than oem and don't rub. Now there are many control arms availible at different price points. I am running some trick arms from Carli on my 05
Where'd you find your Denmans? My current set has finally worn out (+55K on this set, 70K on the last set) & I need another, but no one has any. Denman says they aren't going to do another production run until late this year or early next. I need 'em sooner. NTW is out. Denman says they don't know of anyone who has 'em.
well got my 315 75 16 on my stock wheels look great also installed a 2" leveling kit while at it. but don't care nothing for the leveling kit when loaded. will these tires clear the fenders with the leveling kit removed. i made steering stops so the tires get no where near control arms but was curious about the wheel liners and bumper.
