will 315-70-17 fit under my truck with the 2" spacers? ive heard yes and no. think i found a decent deal on some 315's just want to know if it will work or not before i lay the cash down!

Depends. They will fit, but will rub on the lower control link at full lock. Also depending of the back spacing of the wheel, you may encounter a rub on the inner fender well.

On my factory 8" wheels, the back spacing is about 6" or 6-1/4", and only had a slight rub on the lower link.

However, if you get wheels that have 4 1/2" back spacing (like most after market wheels) you MAY get rub on the inner fender well while turning.

I have the D25 coils (2") and a 3" body lift with 315/70/17's on 10" wheels with 4 1/2" back spacing, and no rub anywhere, ever. I had the body lift before the 17" tires and wheels though.

I also am running 315/70 r17's with a 2" SJ D25 spring.

I also used SJ Longer lower control arm to set the axle a hair more forward than stock.

I have no rubbing. The tires are mounted on 17 x 9" Eagle wheels with a 5" Backspace. They do get very close to the rear part of the fender (where the mudflap goes) but has not touched. (YET ;) ) And at full lock the tires have not rubbed either.

My dad's truck could fit 315's under it, but when I put the spacer in my truck 315's wouldn't even come close to working. I had to drop down to 295's. 295's rub some on my truck. I don't know what the difference is in some trucks.

It may be the 4 1/2 inch backspacing thats standard with your truck.

Because my truck is designed with a 6 1/4 inch backspacing, that combination with wheels that have a 5" backspacing cause the wheels to stick out 1 1/4 inch more. Hence no rubbing. I however had to get fender flares to keep the Gunk under my truck and not on the side of it.

When you add Aftermarket wheels you get the same Back spacing. Hence the possibility of rubbing.
