This company is pretty close to the house here, about 10-12 miles away. It shoud be just north of 23 mile rd for any metro Detroit members. For those that are not Detroit area members, Detroit City limits stops on the North side at 8 mile.....

Those 03 rims look great on the 2nd Gen..... As for H2 wheels, I like my stockers. . besides a friend that works at GM would harrass me too bad for having GM stuff on the Mighty Dodge..... I want Welds...

I've been looking at differant types of wheels,,,I haven't decided just yet, but Like the HUMMER OPTIONS,,,but aren't there only a FEW TIRE OPTIONS in the 17",,and pricey from what i've seen!!?

I tried the www.vfrtruckaccessories.com site but can't seem to get it to show any thing after I got there???

One more question,,I was TOLD that the 2000-2002 alum wheels will NOT FIT 98's with out turning down the brake drums and steering componentes??,,,, Does ANY ONE KNOW FOR SURE??

THANKS

You will definitely need to turn down the rear drums. As far as grinding on the front end, some have said they had to while others have had the wheels fit the front without problems.

The 03 wheels fit fine because they are 17" and not 16",(no clearance problems with brake parts) but they do mount inboard slightly of the 2nd gen wheels. (wider tires may rub)

BUMMED,,,,

HOWDY...

I thought I had a sweet package,,,bought new 305's,,, ROAD ARMOR bumper... 2000 ALUM wheels (for my 98)... as I was led to believe that they would fit!!!,,,

I was having the rear drums turned down,,but while that was being done,,I thought I check the front fit:eek: they didn''t fit ,,they hit like hell.

I am running the LUKE links and I guess thats most of the hitting. .

:--)

WELL BACK TO LOOKING FOR UPDATED WHEELS. .

I like the HUMMER wheels but not enough options on 17" tires yet!!!:(

The H2 wheel is a nice wheel but you end up with hubcap issues.

One fella made the ram caps fit with more machining but then you still have that hub cap that looks like it belongs on a trash truck.

If you use the H2 caps you have to cut out the rear and run with "Hummer" in the front.

I wish the aftermarket made a replacement cap for the factory cast wheels, I like the Ram wheels but the cap will be what makes me buy new wheels.

Machined out the centers to 4. 774"

Fixed up the Dodge caps so they would fit.

Removed . 9" ring from the bottom...

Trimmed retaining tabs...

I have to admit that is a huge improvement over the factory cast. The modification you did to the hub cap makes it set inside the wheel much more so it doesn't protrude out and take away from the wheel.

Nice job;)
