anyone here run the 315's on their dually? Im asking because I opened my mouth and asked if a particular truck was for sale and the owner made a nice offer on it and im really considering buying the truck. it has a 2" puck lift in front and a add a leaf in the rear. sits level. the rear has 2" spacers and tires have a safe distance between each other. truck is a 6 speed and 4. 10's

It would depend on what wheels are on it. Meaning that most with that much heighth on their duallys have 19. 5's on for support. The more sidewall you have the less support you will have in turning and when hauling something if the wind catchs hold, it can make the truck sway in a unsafe manner. Plus you stand the chance of blowing em out with that much side wall when you add a substantial amount of weight.

Yes, it takes up a entire lane of traffic!!!!:D it really is not that tall, but the tires do stick out of the dually fenders a bit. I was really curious because I have seen on here that a lot of the single wheel guys run the 315's with out any problems and like them. I just figured it would be the same with the dually.

Just remember with DUAL 315's rear floatation during the rain can = Fun in ALL 360 degrees @ 60 mph LOL!!! I dunno 2" spacers are doing ALOT more harm than good. I . E load reduction and lug stress / bearings. And the aformentioned hydroplaining. But it does Look Sick!! (Good)

I would think that the 315's are too much to be mounted on 6" wide rims. Seems like they will be running on the center of the tread. The rear spacers do not bother me, as long as they are of good quality and not some homemade nasty concoction. I have run the spacers for over 5 years now and they have done everything I have ask of them.

I bet that thing would be all over the road in the rain!! Ive pretty much gave up the idea on it. its a sweet looking truck, tons of accessories but I found a 98 12v today low milage and its priced right and that is more along what I was looking for in the first place.
