what do you think of the Cat C7?

I haven’t had any experience with the newer Cats, but when they went to that designation system (C7 is the old 3126, right?) that was around 2007, and that was a rough time for any Diesel mfr. I haven’t heard much good about the ACERT engines.

3208's in boats were rated as high as 475 HP or 485.. There are tons of 210 3208 running in boats for 1000's of hours. A rebuilt NA 210 short block is dirt cheap compared to some other diesels. SnoKing
