Isuzu Pickup with a d-max??

At what HP do you need a billet input shaft???

Ok So let me get this straight... The most I can get out of a 350 is 410, I can deal with that. Only a Dealer can do this? Not a good thing since my only choice is Ohio CAT and if Truck is anything like Ag they only let me talk to the dumb ones. CPjMech... if I PM you my ESN can you tell me what can be done?

Sure send it on over. Yeah, 355 can usually only goto 410 w/o pistons, inj, turbo and drivetrain. There aren't too many dealers that will uprate past the torque rating of the trans.

I assisted a truck puller to modify his C model with B model parts and a modified P-Pump from Columbus Diesel Supply/water injection etc. etc. Perhaps that would work for you? :D

We began with the injection pump from a B but it won't flow enough fuel for us. An adapter is readily available for the Cat engine timing case to adopt the Bosch inline.

While we are talking about big Cats here, If anybody could answer this question I would appreciate it very much. I have a 3406 B in my l 9000 ford Michigan special. Had cat do an inframe, asked the mechanic If he could make it smoke like my brothers Peterbilt 87' 3406 B (IT out pulls my truck every time we take off, and Smokes like someone loosen up the afc spring on a p pump) The mechanic said he is real good with timing, (Hmm. ) So when I got the truck back they also put on a smaller turbo. I didn't ask why. Anyways the truck doesn,t smoke like my brothers. But also always has a smoke/vapor trail when going down the expressway loaded or empty... any Ideas, I sure would like to outpull that red peterbilt, for once. Thanks guys.

1). One might be a 425hp and the other might be a 350hp, that would make him out pull you.

2). NOT a personal attack on you, but why does everyone want their engines to smoke like a f**k'n coal burner?! It's just unburned fuel, that in the end is doing more damage than good to the eng. This is 2006, more smoke doesn't mean more power. I've tuned a C-18 to 960+hp/2600lb ft torque to the wheels without so much as a haze out the stack. The AFRC on a B model can be doing it's job and not affect hp one bit. Sorry, im off my smoke box now, flame on (so to speak).

3). Just turn the high idle and fuel screws out 3 turns, it will make all the power you want :D The CAT dealer would love to inframe it again Oo.
