I'm runnin Trxus m/t's 35x12. 50/17 on stock wheels. Just put em on so I don't know how they ware yet. They ride and look good and I got them cheap

Toyo Open Country M/T's 35x12. 5x17 on stock wheels Had them on for about 4 months. Any tire that can handle Baja I trust my truck too. Had to wait 6 months for them, but it was worth the wait.

i was planning on running the trexus but i was not sure what load rage they were.

i never really reasurched them b/c i did not have the money before.

The new Mickey Thompson ATZ's are available... i've got a set of 35-13-18's that are load range E on their Classic II rims. Just zoopsealed them and put them on the truck.

33 x 12 x 16 E rated PJ Dirt Grip

http://www.dirtgriptires.com/

They have all sorts of sizes from 31" - 38".

Some C and D rated, about half the sizes are E rated.

The 33's fit with no lift.

Very aggressive AT tire tread. More look like a MT.

GREAT in the snow, has been great off road both empty and towing.

Great in the mud, clean/throw at a low wheel speed.

Just as good as OEM in rain.

Great all around.

They have some nice road noise (which I like), but when doing 55 on the highway you don't even hear them.

They've taken a beating, lots of scrubs and rubs.

About 20K on them now, wearing well, should get about 30K on them.

I got 30K out of the OEM Mich's that came stock, then replaced with the PJs.

Running on 16x8ARs

PJ's, yep great. I have a set of them now. After having them balanced 3 times and finally giving up I am running them now. The production of them is crap. I have one that took 6 oz and balanced out fine. the rest are all 20 oz or more and you can feel it. The morons at east coast tires are all ***** and said I didn't know what I was doing. Bad news for them is I was a tire installer for 6 mos (had to wait til I turned 18 to get commercial driver liscense) and have my own tire machine I work on so many for my personal stuff. Amateur I am not. PJ's as good tires, I think not. I wouldn't buy another set if you paid me. But as I have sunk 1100 dollars plus another 300 into balancing them and countless hours on the phone I am going to bald them (shouldn't take long with as out of round as they are) and never ever buy another set. East coast tires keeps insisting its the wheels that are out of round and that the tires are all fine. That would be a nifty trick since the runout of the wheels was about 1/100th of an inch and the tires had variance of about 3/4 of an inch. O an the last balance was on a Hunter 9700 at a Hummer dealership. I have owned multiple sets of Swampers and they are what they are but they have always been consistent. It may take 12-15 oz to balance them but they balance out! and the runout has never been this bad. Not even my 42 in. IROKs have as much runout as my 35 in PJ's. "East Coast Tires" SUCKS!!!! Found them on ebay. Cheap but absolutely no customer service. And kinda slow delivery. About 2 weeks.

Wow, geez. . I'm not having that problem. two took a little two took about 15 oz.

No run out issues.

Could it be that they are buying marginal tires/blems, almost or real rejects?

And if soo, bad for East Coast for not telling you.

I"ll get about the same or more out of these then I got out of the stock Mich 245's that came with the truck, they were fine too, just tiny and bad off road.

I asked if they were seconds or blems and they said no. They are supposed to be first run new tires. I found the number for the manufacturer last night and am going to call them and see if they will do anything. What I have is just ridiculous. Yes they are quiet and the tread doesn't vibrate but I would rather have them noisy and round than quiet and square. As one of the hummer mechanics said while watching the tire spin on the machine, "aren't tires supposed to be round?" I haven't heard of problems like this from any other user of PJ's. But I am really PO'ed and after the way East Coast Tires has dealt with the problem I want to let people know to avoid those clowns.

I run BFG M/Ts. They are a load range D which is fine for me. I have about 10k miles on them and they are at about 90%

I'm looking for new set of 35's in the E range also.

Anyone have a mileage report on the Toyo MT's?

It's between the toyos, truxus mt's, and nitto mud grapplers for me now. I have heard the nitto's are loud on the highway, I have the truxus on my xj, but haven't got maybe 100 miles on them yet. They seem kinda soft too.

My buddy's got the Nitto Mud Grapplers in 35" on his half ton and they are the loudest tire I've every heard in the cab.

:-laf

Maybe I'm just deaf but I haven't driven a truck with tires I found to be loud. That includes Swampers and Boggers.

Now to hear tires over the Cummins... those have to be some loud tires!

I just read a review in JP magazine of the Nitto's: all took less than 5 oz to balance and they ran smooth but they are noisy. I haven't had a set yet but everything I have read on them says they are smooth and handle well, only drawback is they are noisy.

I ran 33 in TRXUS MT's in 33x12. 5x16 on my Ram. I got about 35k out of them. Balanced well, about 10-12 oz was max. No complaints. Smooth and reasonably quiet. I would definitely buy them again. I ran 60 psi up front and 35 in the rear and rotated them every 10k. Went well in snow, mud and sand.

I will try Toyo's next. Everything I have heard about them is good.

TOYOS ARE A NICE TIRE, MY 37-13. 5 ARE WAY MORE ROAD NOISEY THEN MY BUDDYS 35 TOYOS, ALSO MY TOYOS ARE WEARING ALOT FASTER THAN MY 37" BFG MTS ANYONE ELSE EXP FAST TREAD WEAR ON THE TOYOS, VERY IMPRESSED WITH ON AND OFF ROAD DRIVABILITY, LITTLE TO BALANCE AND THEY LOOK GREAT, GREAT IN THE ROCKS AND HARD GROUND, SEEMS LIKE I HAVE TO SPIN THEM FAST TO CLEAN THEM OUT, THEY THROW GREAT ROOSTS AND IF YOU GET STUCK, STOP SPINNING BECAUSE YOU WILL GO STRAIGHT DOWN BEFORE YOU KNOW IT I LIKE MINE
