IIRC, a 2. 5" lift in front, trim the rear of the fender well to get 35's to work. They will still hit if you bounce it to hard turning but thats controllable.

Running a narrow wheel helps. The Last ramcharger I did with 315 BFG's I used the factory wheel. IRRC it was a 7" it clears with just about a 2. 5" lift no rubbing even off road

Thank you for all the responses i'lll go ahead with the purchase, and post tsome pics ASAP, mad max i must tell you i like that club cab that truck looks like a beast haha, thank you all

Here is a '90 with 33x12. 50's on 16. 5" wide rims. They clear with no lift and don't rub at all.

Here is my '90 with 315's (35x12. 5's) on stock rims. I have a 2" body lift and cut front fenders. There is so much clearance on mine because it used to have 36" tsl's on it, which cleared fine with no rubbing.

My other friend has 36x14. 5 ground hawgs on his stock '90 and all he did was trim the front fenders kind of like mine are trimmed.

Thanks man ;) - it is a beast, and we gots plans for it  . The 35's made it even nicer to drive compared to the 235/85-16s - these trucks always seem to want more 'gear', and 35s are a real simple way to get 'more'.

if you look at my pictures, i had a guy ask me the exact same question about a year ago, so i took a bunch of pictures showing exactly how a set of 35"s fit on a 4x4 first gen with know modifications to the suspension. i had to trim the front fenders a bit, but they were ok. the biggest problem youll have is them rubbing the the bottom of the cab, when you turn sharp on, mainly going into or out of steep parking lots. i lifted my rear 2"s, and my front about 3"-3 1/2"s and i cant get em to rub if i wanted to.

Chris, that white '90 you got is beautiful!!! ive always wondered whose that was. is it 5spd?? if so, do you think youll ever be interested in selling it?

heres a picture of my truck now with the 35's with is lifted. its not the best picture, but i got plenty more of it, in other threads, but i cant post them twice, which sucks.

Jimmy ur truck is awsome and ctd chris ur truck looks sick, i just came in from the shop. i spent a little time trimming the wheel wells, still got some more to do. but the 35's are definently the coolest looking thing i've done to the truck. thanks for the help guys, i'll definently have to get some updated pictures on here ASAP

yea dude get em on here :) i cant wait to see it. yea the 35's really change the way these trucks look. really helps em out. ive found the best thing to trim the wheel wells with is a good sawzall. if i were you id slam my hand in the door of the truck before i start, that would get me good and mad so i could really get some good cutting done. cutting that plastic and metal down ther can really be a pain in the ***.

Trim a little and fold it back under with some channel locks or something. Nothing worse than pulling a tire off and cutting the top of your head on your fender

Also if your tires where ever to come close enough to the fender you don't have to worry about the metal cutting into the tires. Other than that its pretty straight forward isn't it? :D
