The ability to get Cummings from Cummins requires a whole separate level of idiocy. Thats not bad pronunciation, that is just lack of education.

Try to to tell the locals Belle Fourche or Pierre is pronounced as the french would.



Better yet, try a presentation with AISIN on the board and pronounce it Eyesin without pointing out the specifics. The overall perception will be "What is he talking about????". :-laf Pronouncing it A-sin or A-zin makes an instant connection. That would fall under the heading "When in Rome... ... . ".



Careful with trying to assign foreign pronunciation to translated characters, especially from SEA. Way too easy to infer there is a monkey or camel in someones family tree. They can laugh at my pronunciation all day as long as they are not insulted into throwing sharp objects my way. :-laf
