2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission 3500 Driveshaft

Can anyone tell me the length of a drive shaft on a 3500 2nd gen. quad cab. Need to know the rear shaft length from center of u-joint cross to center of the cross on other end. Changeing my truck from a dana 70 to a dana 80 and unless I'm wrong the drive shaft length in the 3500 is 2" shorter than my 2500 rear driveshaft. Need to know BEFORE I start the swap over. Dont need any surprises

My truck is a 4x2 so I don't know if the rear shaft is the same or not, but it is out of the truck right now since I am doing an engine swap. If someone knows if the rear shaft is the same from the center bearing back, I will be glad to measure it for you.

I get roughly 70. 5" from the u-joint at the axle to the u-joint at the end of the transfer case. Is this the measurement you're after. My truck is a 01. 5 3500 with 6 spd.
