Around town: 15L/100km (16 US mpg)
On the highway: 11L/100km (21 US mpg)
On the road with my slide in camper: 15L/100km (16 US mpg)

I seem to do best with my Edge set to 2 (tow).
 
I'm lucky to get 16 but I think its because of my 3000 lb bed . I'm trying setting one since I can't get my chip to adjust low end settings
 
My 2002 3500 Quad cab 2wd, auto, full of fuel with no driver weights in at 6800lb. It makes 19 mpg (on US gal.) at 65 mph with 4:10 gears and stock 235 85/16 tires.
 
I cannot imagine owning a 2wd dually but I also can't imagine getting 19 my 98 regular cab single wheel 4wd with 285 75 16 tires 3.42 gears would barely make that
 
Another question would I gain anything buy going from 245 75 16 to 265 75 16 tires with 3.54 gears or would the rolling resistance outweigh the drop in engine speed ?
 
with a high rear I don't think you would gain anything by going to a larger tire. I have 4.10 rear w stock 235/85/16 tires and run 2100 @65 and goes up fast from there fuel mileage plummets. on my 99 285/75/16s helped to knock rpm back, had 4.10 rear. But with bigger tires you will wear out your unit hubs prematurely, ask me how I know!
I avg around 15 mpg with stock tires and low rears, everyone I know that has the 3.55 or 3.73 in the 3rd gens gets upper teens.
 
On my 98 single wheel with 3.42 going from 265 to 285 went from 17 to 18.5 mpg I understand the dually is a completely different machine and that was the next question are the duallys a lot harder on front end components?
