There are some variables here--what rear-end (3. 54 or 4. 10), sticks get better than auto's... See my sig. --I get about 16-18, and for the stability and power--I think that is ggggrrreat... R, J. B.

;)

Now that the weather has warmed up I get 16-17 mpg driven as a daily driver to/from work. Winter time I averaged 15-16 mpg. Highway mileage is right at 19 mpg, and that's with the cruise set at 70. These numbers were hand figured, since the EZ throws off the overhead computer.

The mods I have listed probably do help the mpg some, but since I take full advantage of the extra noise/smoke/power they provide every chance I get , the gain in mpg is probably a wash.

I have an early '98. I put a 6-speed in it,, 2wd, 3500, 15MPG on the highway @ 80 MPH

About 12-14MPG in town.

I've been as low as 9MPG(w/6-speed @ 110MPH) and high as 26MPG (w/5-speed @60MPH)

The 15MPG was coming back from Muncie, Indiana, going to Laredo, Tx. I was running a PE COMP on 5x5 and injectors that are a little bigger than stock :D

Some trucks get good MPG some don't. Mine doesn't get great MPG but runs mid 15's in the 1/4 so I'm happy.

It does better than my Dad's D-Max, 17 empty on the highway and 7-8MPG loaded on the highway.

Just today I went 100 miles on 13 gallons of fuel pulling about 26,000 pounds.

I've averaged 15 mpg since new with the 3. 54's (around 11. 5 with the camper). I've kept a spread sheet with every tank of diesel logged. I currently have 36,000 miles on it and have never noticed an improvement with time. This is with an entirely stock HO engine.

See my signature for all what my truck has no bombing. I get 17 to 18 for the most part as daily driver. I have gotten a little above 20 when mostly down hill, no wind and highway speeds. I am happy with it.

you guys make me want to cry. I get 14. 5 to 15 mpg at all times. City, interstate, load, no load.

My 12 V got 17. 5 at all times. So much for that 20% improvement that dodge advertised... If I got 16 mpg I'd jump up and down...

I thought the EZ and DDIIs might have helped some but no improvement really seen. Every now and then I get to 15 to 15. 5 but I can't figure out why. I drive fast, slow, race all on those good tanks and I can't figure it out.

I have a 2001. 5 4x4 3500 quad cab with 4. 11 rear end. I am getting almost exactly 17 MPG. It has about 50,000 miles on it.

3500 MPG!!

Man, I'm only getting about 19 MPG. What do I have to do to get 3500? Let's see, that works out to 122,500 miles per tank.

When it was new, 13mpg after bombing 19. 5 with the raised roof topper, 20. 5 empty, driving 65. Usually I'm partially loaded and driving 75-80mph, 16-17mpg. 12-15mpg hauling my 11' Bigfoot camper, about the same pulling my 38' 5ver. Really depends on the wind, especially with the slide in.

get fuel at a different place, mine goes up 2 mpg if I get it out of town. CGVW of 13,000 I got 17 mpg. That was a two axle trailer with a dodge neon.

idle time kills mileage too. I have finally got two 20 mpg tanks, both on trips to New York. Maybe Michigan is just a bad place to buy fuel...

Mostly in town driving here, which equates to an average of 14. 5, somewhat more with summer fuel, less with the winter blend. I get about 19-20 MPG on the highway, don't get out there much, though. That's with the 3. 55's and a share of fueling enhancements. I finally mamaged to get through 1/2 a tank of fuel with conservative driving habits ( kept the boost at or under 10 psi's, damn near killed me ;) ). Gained a whopping 1/2 MPG at fill up. Fun factor was gone, still in counseling and hoping for a full recovery :p .
