John,

You have said it all!! I agree!

Why settle for just black plastic or rubber with blue and red painted on them, when you can have stainless steel either brushed or polished with your own personal message on them to really set them off?

Oh John, by the way, have you washed your truck yet? Have you talked to your brother Papa Joe lately? HaHaHa! #ad

I have ones from GO Industries, have stainless weights on the bottom but chrome anti sail brackets, which do rust. They weren't as long as I wanted on the 4x4 so I used aluminum at the top to get them just a couple of inches off the road when the trailer is hitched. They work great this way.

John, your flaps look nice. I'm trying to stay away from the stainless steel/diamond plate look. By better half isn't crazy about it and I'm not either. Since this rig will be home in a couple of years (gonna retire and full-time in the new fiver), she's gotta like it too. However, I tried to install the Dodge Accessory rubber flaps today and what a POS. I might decide I like stainless!!!!!!!!!

Bob (Stephens), I saw the pic of your Ram in the 2nd Gen thread... Nice! With the degree of care you give your Ram I would think that adding anything other than NW Custom mud flaps would leave you thinking that you settled for less.

Bob... I just ordered some brushed NW Custom rear flaps... you are welcome to come down and check them out. Should be here any day... if you are quick, you could hold them up to your dually prior to my install.
I currently have flaps, but just as they say... too much "sail", too close to the rear tires(already wore down the rubber booty on the back of the bolt(rubs the tire), don't hang down low enough for effective rock control, and the chrome here in washington is much more work than it is worth!

Hey BIG BOB, one point of correction... NW Custom offeres their mud flaps in either diamond plate aluminum or brushed stainless steel... POLISHED stainless steel is not available in their mud flaps (EVEN ON SPECIAL REQUEST) although, all their other accessories are available in polished or brushed stainless steel.

Yes, my Ram got washed... TWICE in three days. I just had the pics taken for The PowerShop's, "Feature Customer" website piece on Sunday.

Oh, and Bob, NOTHIN' beats BLACK! #ad

I don't wanna hear it Hanson. #ad

Bob (Stephens), If you come on down to Enumclaw to see Rob's new NW Custom mud flaps, I could meet you at Rob's... I only live several miles from him. This would give you are real good idea of what to expect.

BTW, mine are 1. 5 years old and look virtually new. #ad

John,

I can understand why you washed your truck twice in 3 days! It's BLACK! If you didn't it would look like that one I saw at Rob's last time I was over. #ad

Oh, and Bob, NOTHIN' beats BLACK!

John,

Are you going to run that "BLACK" Ram of yours on the Dyno at Dyno Days? #ad

I don't wanna hear it Hanson.

Rob,
Sure would hate to see "Big Red" and "White Obsession" put out more HP than that BLACK Ram (Blackout) or maybe it's BROWNOUT! But remember NOTHIN' beats BLACK! #ad

All in fun and brotherhood! #ad

Sorry BIG BOB, I don't have enough HP to compete with you big boys... so I'm stayin' on the porch. #ad

Rob, you ever get your new mudflaps? I installed the Dodge flaps - PITA. I'd like to see what yours look like. Also trying to figure out how to make the Abbotsford run. Would like to see some of the other trucks.
