3500 QC SRW + 8' Bed + Laramie???? Can't do?

Seems you cannot configure a 3500 QC SRW with the 8' bed AND select a Laramie package (J or H). I've tried doing it on KBB. COM and on Dodge's web site and it will only let you select SLT level trim when doing that configuration. Some other quirks are that you cannot pick the trailer tow group without selecting the snow plow prep which in turn deselects the Protection Group. Crazy! Is this just an anomalie with the web sites or is it just not possible to order a 3500 QC SRW 8' Laramie with Trailer Tow and Protection Group???? Tomeygun?

KBB has a few logic errors in the 3500 QC long box coding, and I doubt they'll fix it any time soon. I was able to build a 3500 Laramie SRW Quad 4x4 on Dodge's site with no problem. In order to do that on Dodge's site, you select the LT265 tires and the Single Rear Wheel group automatically kicks in.

For the most part yes, especially when you're talking diesels with them. Tomeygun seems to be a notable exception however!

You hit it on the money there KC... . if you pick the tires first (just by dumb luck- it's not like they tell you... ) then you get the SRW LBW with Laramie. Pick the SRW option FIRST then it tells you that it's going to reconfigure your options to be a 3500 SWB instead of LWB!!!! It's too bad D/C's web based vehicle builder isn't as intelligent as the one that the dealer's use. Being able to print out a REAL spec sheet including codes and just taking it to your dealer would be helpful.

Sorry his members name is "APLISKA" it's an 05. if you go to readers rigs and click on the year icon it will automatically catogerize by year and look for "plisstrds I6".

No , it is still available... just the non-dealer sites are very error ridden
