Where are the duallies with big tires? I can't find any online (except $$$ show trucks). I ran 9-34/16 Super Swampers last summer on stock wheels and liked the size, but the front tires didn't last long. I can't find any other less aggresive tires in that size. I'm really just looking for the gearing advantage of a taller tire now that I have power to spare but not speed (4. 10 gears).

Short of finding some esoteric 34" tire, I've got my eye on even bigger tires (11. 00-16 38" tall military Michelin's). Yeah, that's it.

Anybody running tall skinnies on stock dually wheels?

255/85's

I'm runnin 255/85 Dunlop Rover A/T's. I know what you mean about not findin any good tires. I was in the Denver area in March and found a guy with a ford runnin 315/70 Generals. They looked like cookie cutters on the stock rim's that he had em on. Right now i have to run around 20-25 psi in mine to keep the middle from wearing. I'm also running about 3/4" of spacer between the rear wheels

Unusual perspectives ;) on that blue truck Tim and BTW, what do you suggest is next to topple 1350 posts?

Darryl, have you considered 19. 5 rims and Yokohama TY303 rubber - much, much better than the OEM Factory Teflon items
;)

;)

How about a heated discussion on Torque Converters bade by Catholic Preists that live in Afganistan chanting "Rosie O'Donnell Rules" While wearing chevy shirts?

Anyways I saw Sibling Rivalry at the Carlisle Truck Show ... ... MAN Those Rigs Rule!! If you get in touch with them they have a manufacturer that makes the custom backspaced dually rims (Which I may partake in) on varying size tires (Up to 44 inch swampers) Me ... . simple set of 35" Mud TA's (33's are on the truck now)

When you girls are done fooling around with little wheels and tires, I can hook you up with a conversion for 22. 5 or 24. 5 Alcoas and tires... . approx $4k all done!

I Luve alcoas buuuuuuut

The New American Racing D~* duallie rims are wicked looking (Saw em on a black duallie at town fair)

You bet I have. I'm averaging a paultry 12,000 miles a year on my truck so it's hard to substantiate the cost of 19. 5" wheel/tire upgrade. Not enough road in Alaska, I guess. That's partially why I tried the 9/34" Super Swampers last summer - and just for the fun of it.

Only 1 week left to get the studs off.....

If you would prefer 'real' truck wheels/tires and a KILLER look, try 22. 5 or 24. 5 Alcoas and tires!! There are lots of duallies running around down here with these fitted to them and they look fantastic! It involves an adapter that goes from our 8-lug up to the big 10-lug pattern, new wheels and tires, and possibly a lift kit (depending on your truck). Expect 200,000 miles+ from the tires... . they were designed to carry lots more than a 7k pickup!

I tracked down the shop doing it here locally by asking a couple owners I cornered and grilled... call GAW (Gabby's Auto Works) in Miami @ 305/477-5433. The owner's name is Gabby. I visited his shop and looked around for quite a while asking questions. He was pleasent and patient. The whole thing is about $4k, not bad in my opinion. I am in no way affiliated with him or his shop, just passing along what I know. Please tell him that I sent you!

Great Truck

Sibling rivalry is now the wallpaper on my screen- what an awesome looking truck!!!! Couldn't get mine in the parking garage if it was modded like that though!!!

BCFAST

Do u have any pics of trucks with the larger wheels? I was going to go with a set of 22. 5's but decided not to, cause the only pic I found look silly. I styll havent purchased wheels yet, but my stockers r going away real quick, & I will need new rubber in a few thousand miles. I really want some longevity as well as sum killer looks to compliment an already awsum truck...

24.5's look cool!

I saw a 3500 parked in front of Hooters across from the speedway as I was leaving after the 200(bike race) in Daytona. It had 24. 5's and what looked like lopro rubber on it. It looked pretty good. I'd have taken pics, but I didn't have my digital camera with me.
