What was the final consenses on the gasket thickness, was at diesel injection in Louisville yesterday and they couldn't just get the washers ,acted like they were lost ,didn't know if they were 7mm or 9mm and then brought out some real thick ones just said no thanks,I thought that they are ID 7mm thickness 2mm . For a injection shop it was easy to see that they haven't tried anything accept off the shelf parts from the major name brand suppliers boy are they missing out.

Final consensus was use thin . 02 inch washers. Look here for further info

Ramman,
I went there on Monday hunting for the same thing. They might think something is up and try to find them now. I ended up ordering the washer kit from BD. It was inexpensive and has everything you need. Call and tell them what you want.

Don't bother trying to get the washers at the dealer. I asked for the '98 12V 215 HP engine washers, and hoped that they were the . 020's. Dodge had no specs on thickness. He wanted 9 bucks a a piece for them.

The local Cummins dealer parts guy didn't have a clue on what p/n a . 020 sealing washer was. The books & computer don't list thickness. 2 places to avoid.
