370 injector washers?

I just received my Piers 370 injectors & baggy with . 020" washers & misc hardware. The instruction say to install the . 020" washers onto the new injectors. Does this mean removing the orginal . 055" (approx) washer or stack the . 020" washer onto the orginal one.
