Yes.

Pro: adds fuel and power

Con: costs more than a torque plate that can give that much power on a stock engine. May hurt mpg in town. Longer installation time than torque plate.

For me when I installed the 370's from the 215's with the stock plate, the milage went form 20 to 17. 6. Why? I don't know. When I installed the #10 plate with the 3K governor springs the milage is back to 19. 8. Tomorrow I will take a 700 mile trip empty so will know better what I got.

I did the 370s B4 the plate and the power was improved about 40hp from what I have been told. Mileage was better than the 215s once I quite mashing the loud pedal. New injectors versus ones with a lot of miles on them should be an improvment. 215s are in demand with the guys with 160 and 180 hp engines so it helps defray the expence some too if you sell your old ones.

I'm running 370s with a stock plate slid about . 045". Smokes a little more and doesn't run as smooth at low RPM as 215s. If you're staying under 250hp I would suggest going with the plate and stock injectors. Wish I hadn't sold my 215s. I'd like to try them again.
