When you guys talk about a "stumble" Do you mean the truck falls on its face for a split second, does the engine have a miss in it for a second?
If I hold mine at just the right RPM and load it will shake the whole truck in a shudder effect.
Keep in mind mine is a very unusual pump by Piers's discription and I have a set of springs that totally eleminated the stumble but I don't get the RPM's like the 4K's
What kind of EGT increase can I expect out of 370's? I guess my real question is whether I can get away with 370's with my stock turbo. I have only hit 1000 post turbo at 40psi one time while racing. Don't do that hardly at all. I know I need to go to a bigger exhaust housing AT LEAST, but college funds aren't real forgiving. I guess for that matter I don't really need to worry about getting 370's either Think I talked the girlfriend into a 3K GSK for my birthday though!
See sig, stock turbo until a month ago and then it was for EGT reduction when racing. I am sure a turbo upgrade would be good idea but so far stock HX35 w/16cm housing works pretty good and no plans to upgrade due to cost of turbo and 4" exhaust and new exhaust brake. Pretty happy so far. Any more power and it will be another expensive clutch change too so its about done BOMBing for a while.
It is debatable how much DV's help horsepower. They definitely add more low end and midrange by the seat of the pants meter. Peak HP though it questionable. On a dyno it has been proven they do not add peak HP. Real world conditions may be different. They sure add to real world peak EGT's though
