Basically the 370 designation refers to injectors used in a 370 HP application... say a marine or industrial motor.

The EDM is a method of making the holes IN the injector tip. It stands for Electronic Discharge Machining... or something like that.

It is extremely precise and is able to perform pretty most any combination of holes and sizes... . material strength aside... down to very minute hole size.

Interesting. I've noticed that the 370s are pretty reasonable $$$. So are you telling me if I go with PDR 370s I'll probably have enough money left over for a #10 plate? Oo.

I was advised to try the the 370's first. You can always sell 'em and get EDM's. I tried 215/6's first and BLAH--but then I've been spoiled by a 400+ 24v. ;)

If smoke is a problem try the AFC spring kit--.

Yes you can buy 370's, plate, and spring kit for the cost of EDM's.

And if you don't have a GSK--NOW is the time.

I had a conversation with DonM about a set of injectors for my 12v. . What he told me was that a set of the EDM injectors can be setup to have the heat and EGTs of the 300's and the power of the 370's.

I have seen what a set of his earlier Mach 2's and a set of his later Mach 2. 5's for a 24v will do. I am impressed with how they work. There has been some good things done in the last year with the EDM injectors.

My truck is getting ready to need a set of injectors and I do believe they will be a set of EDM's. I want to see how my 12v with 3K GSK and #10 will do while towing a 10k 5er.

Yes the EDM's are more expensive than the 370's but I dont want to change them again. Install a set and go down the road.

And that is my $0. 02 worth

Tried and true 370's.

If something has a catchy name Like "Stage" this or that, IMHO, you are paying for that catchy name.

I can't believe they are that big of difference to justify the cost.

this will eventually turn into and east vs. west ******* match

Don M's EDM's are producing great number in both HP and Torque.

Considering I'm running a set of 370s from Piers, I'm not sure how this will be east vs west?

It will more than likely turn into how bogus Dyno Jet numbers are on a large chargered Diesel.

How a set of EDM Mach 2. 5 compare to a set of DD II's... Even a set of the early Mach 2 to a more current set of Mach 2. 5's

I got some honed 215s from Jeff Prince for $700. They are supposed to have a better spray pattern and barely be streetable. I think they are gonna crush the 370s, but as for smoke and egts... dont know and dont care.

Did'nt Don M Dyno @621HP (#2 only, Single Turbo) earlier this year w/ his EDM injectors.

Yep. Sure did. I was there... I can vouch for that. . I still have stock 215 injectors, and can still make it in the 400+ club. I dont need injectors right now. we are happy with our #'s.
