Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 370's Kick @$$

I have the 3k GSK and don't really notice a stumble except under very, very light throttle application at about 1000 to 1100 RPM. I am going to loosen the governor springs one click to see if this will eliminate this problem.

I never did have a stumble with my truck at any RPM, even when I tried to induce it by puttering around at various rpms.

Would the stumble be more noticeable with a manual transmission?
