Fired it up 3 days ago, did the warm up and re-torque... . what a pain to T/Q the back studs to 150, got one heck of a bite on the gasket, still have to put the bumper on and a few odds and ends then off to the car wash... ... ... been sitting way too long, 3 months in work and nearly 2 months gone on the road(work)!



Very odd idling now, real smooth, A/C on and in gear is real nice.

Sounds like you have a well built balanced motor Oo. yeehaww!!!!
 
Got Smoke, you are correct. I flew to Reno Nevada and drove this truck home back in the day. It was more pathetic than my stock 89, and 94 automatics.



I fixed that... ... . :cool:
