370's vs. extrude honed

What is the difference between the diamond b 370’s and the extrude honed injectors
that a couple companies have and what stage of the extrude honed would be comparable to the 370’s.
I’ve noticed some guys have trouble getting rid of smoke with the 370’s, would the other type have the same trouble or does the honing process make for a smoother orifice to keep the fuel from becoming drops instead of mist.
I hope these aren’t stupid questions,just trying to gather all the info before making my purchase.

as far as I'm aware the only extrude honed injectors for the 12 valves are from Enterprise engines and are extrude honed 370's for competition. If you are conscered about smoke go with 215hp bosch units.
 
"Smoke happens"
at least, it does at high power per cubic inch. 370s give good power at moderate cost. They don't smoke unless you go for a lot of fuelling at too low boost pressure. Your problem is just getting the right part numbers. If you go for extrude honed injectors, you can get smoke from pushing a lot of fuel=power and also from poor quality control on the honing process, or from using used injectors that were pretty much worn out to begin with.

Guess I'll have to go to the other side of town and visit Lawrence at DD. I wouldn't trust anyone else to hone a set for my poor old sickly Ram. #ad
