Here at Baker Auto Accessories, we have developed a soon to be released Brite Box deluxe kit for 3rd generation trucks that also controls the factory installed fog lights. Of course, as with the standard Brite Box kit for 3G trucks, the low beams stay on when your high beams are on. Additionally, with the deluxe kit, when your fog lights are on, they stay on when you go to high beam. The best thing is that this box also will turn on your fogs when you go to high beam EVEN if your fog light switch is OFF. We figured if you go to high beam, you want every filament to turn on.

We have run these boxes for a number of months in trucks in Colorado, including my personal "600". Installation of these boxes is a plug and play with NO wire cutting / splicing.

Now the sweet deal . . . we are willing to sell between 15 and 20 of these kits at a reduced price to 3G owners who would like to provide us with final product testing before we formally introduce the product. We want trucks that are driven daily (02 - 1500 models, 03, 04 and 04. 5 models) and get a fair amount of night driving.

If you are interested, please call me at 970. 879. 4200 during normal business hrs. BTW, our time zone is MST.

After a rather lengthy phone conversation with Joel I've got one on the way. We'll see how it works out. Sure is gunna be nice to have them fog lights on with the high beams!

What kind of tester information does he need? I run cross country and do ALOT of night driving. Did he happen to mention a price for the test units? You can pm me if you need to...

Hey guys, jump on this opportunity! I have a custom built box from Joel that I have had for a few years, I have had my PIAA fogs on with the hi/low for a long time and I drive most miles in the dark, no problem! and its been in several trucks. Just some info. thanks

I may want one of these but would definitely want to change the fogs or at least re-aim. having the fogs on is a distraction at speed as it draws attention down too low.

Anyone change or re-aim the fogs for this?

I have not on mine. Actually I like the fogs aiming low. I like being able to see far ahead while at the same time having the road right close up 'flood lit' as well. Helps on roads with lots of twists and hills. Also the fog lights are set right for when using them in fog for real.

Aiming them higher duplicates the headlights and they will reflect in your eyes more. Food for thought.

a couple of diodes to the 85 terminal's of the light relays will do the same thing. did my truck for about $1. 00. Now I can get, low, high and fog on all the time.
